Yes, and it is often very different from project to project. Some DAO governance works really well, some just mimic working decentralization. It is a very complex question to answer about possible friction points in a short lenster answer.

I like the emails as a perfect medium for rare, important messages that should not be ignored. When emails are sent to often it damages the importance of the message.
It would be great to have something like that, I like the idea. Extensions are very convenient and easy to use.
