if someone made a lens memecoin it should be called $LMCC, an homage to the OG days when users would Like, Mirror, Comment, and Collect to show "total and maximum support" for another creator
Would you rather be mortal on a immortal planet or be immortal on a mortal planet?
It's more likely be triggered by ETFs as money will flow into the space. When more money flows in, more attention follows and Web 2.0 giants are all going to rush into Web 3.0 just like all big financial institutions rushing into BTC ETFs, which means many existing popular apps with massive user base and good UX adopting Web 3.0, which will likely mark the top of the next bull market. I don't think crypto native apps are going to be able to overtake the Web 2.0 giants yet but it is highly probable that these will integrate Web 3 features like crypto wallets, social graphs (Lens), Identities, NFTs etc.
@lenster.lens is in its early stages and operates within the open-source ethos, emphasizing community-driven contributions and collaboration. By asking for grants instead of capital, we prioritize transparency, inclusivity, and the collective goal of creating and maintaining resources free for all. While equity often ties to profitability and control, especially in early-stage projects, grants ensure our project remains accessible and benefits the broader community. This approach aligns with the ethos of the open-source community, where the focus is on mutual benefit rather than individual profit. We appreciate the support of our users and believe in the power of open collaboration. 🌍💡
