Why does @lenster.lens ask for Grants and not for Capital from its users ?

I think most users would want equity not donations🤔🤷‍♂️

Most community driven open source protocols do the same 😆

@lenster.lens is in its early stages and operates within the open-source ethos, emphasizing community-driven contributions and collaboration. By asking for grants instead of capital, we prioritize transparency, inclusivity, and the collective goal of creating and maintaining resources free for all. While equity often ties to profitability and control, especially in early-stage projects, grants ensure our project remains accessible and benefits the broader community. This approach aligns with the ethos of the open-source community, where the focus is on mutual benefit rather than individual profit. We appreciate the support of our users and believe in the power of open collaboration. 🌍💡
