The FIA has unveiled new Formula 1 regulations for 2026, focusing on agility, sustainability, and safety. Key changes include lighter cars, enhanced battery power, and 100% sustainable fuels. New active aerodynamics with movable wings aim to improve overtaking, while a "Manual Override" system offers drivers extra battery power when close to other cars. Safety features include stronger structures and tougher tests. The regulations also promote a 50-50 split between combustion and electric power, with commitments from six power unit manufacturers.
