Now the Free tier has Stream VODs for 7 days, and for Super Bloomers, Stream VODs remain available for 28 days.
TL;DR: You can now select between two modes, Low Latency & Quality, to watch the streams.
Low Latency mode has a latency of just 3 seconds, ideal for watching streams & chatting without any delay. However, it may stutter depending on the streamer's or your internet connectivity. If that happens, simply select Quality mode.
Quality mode has a higher latency of more than 20 seconds (previously this was the default). It ensures fewer stutters and a smoother viewing experience.
For NERDS:
Watching in Quality Mode uses the .m3u8 format, which first downloads bits of the stream and then plays them in sequential order, resulting in higher latency. However, because it downloads entire bits, the quality is stutter-free.
Low Latency mode uses WebRTC to watch the stream, providing a direct stream of real-time video content. This may stutter depending on the streamer's internet connectivity.

Now, when stream replay expires or for streams without replays, stream posts will show the first clip. So, make sure to create a clip for your stream.
Upcoming updates will allow creating longer clips and the ability to select which clip to show on your stream post from the content page (with improved content page).
In other minor updates, slightly improved loading performance, minor UI improvements, 'None' option in categories, and tip open action enabled by default.
