we've been experimenting w/ onchain communities, known as clubs, for 1.5 years and are excited to now let everyone create their own.
orb clubs are onchain communities centered around shared interests.
clubs can be:
• Public: open for anyone to view, join and post
• Restricted: require a request to join, or NFT/ERC-20 gating.
each club comes w/: -
• Club Treasury: it is like having a shared bank account for your subreddit or group chat -
• Native Token: option to link your own token for use it for action like mints or tipping (coming soon).
to create a club, go to the explore section, tap "Create Club ⊕" and follow the steps. 🫡

once lens scales, it would greatly benefit from having a marketplace for algos.
at orb, we would integrate the algo marketplace for sure.
this will also create new opportunities for builders. for instance, if someone subscribes to your algo, you could earn a fee from each subscription.
