Here is an over view of all six images from my mini series, Pur兎kura, which is inspired by my love for taking purikuras. (please read more about it in my previous posts if curious:3 - I have bts videos too)
A week late to posting, but here are some visuals from the Lens Protocol TOKYO Meet-up:) It was so great getting to chat with everyone, and thank you @kayakiko and @asamisscream for showing my work!!
Pur兎kura - No.5 (5/6)
This mini series is inspired by my love for taking purikura, a favorite after-school activity during my junior high years in Japan, infused with my artistic style. The highlight of this collection is an embroidered NFC patch, which I like to imagine is a portal to the digital world. In half of the pieces, the NFC patch connects to an AR Snapchat lens I created for photo editing, while the other half links to some fun experiences.

Alsooo the skirt is something I made upcycling pants and black skirt:)
I think I have a title for this collection!! Pretty simple but felt like Pur兎kura was pretty fitting! (I’ve also created a past work replacing the i with a kanji for bunny)
Here is piece 3/6 which also comes with an embroidered nfc patch that links to a AR snapchat lens. I’ve added a video of testing the nfc patch, as well as a timelapse of start to finish
Thank you guys for the support:)
Here is something that I have been working on recently! Still deciding on a title for this mini series but it is heavily inspired by my obsession of doing purikura’s after school in junior high (I grew up in Japan) x mixing in my artistic style.
I highlight of this collection is that I created an embroidery nfc patch, which I like to view is a portal to the digital. And in this case, it is linked to the AR snapchat lens I created to edit the photo!
Also thank you @kayakiko for showing me how to post here:)
