Onboarding, onchain privacy and emergent trends & use cases in Ethereum
We need the Ethereum App to be the focal point, with chains & bridges abstracted away from the user. This way, rather than burdening newer users in particular with the tyranny of choice - surely one of the biggest barriers to mainstream adoption - I instead envisage individual apps selecting the DA and execution layer/s best suited to them, then competing for users on how well they optimise for this. So whilst Ethereum remains the settlement layer in this scenario for all the benefits that have made it so popular, the stack effectively gets flipped upside-down to become app-centric - much like what users are used to when using eg, Instagram on iOS or Android. After that, maybe we can start calling them dApps!
