A common question I've encountered is the difference between Lens Profiles and Lens Handles. Here’s a simple breakdown: Both elements are NFTs on the Lens Protocol, but they serve distinct purposes.

🙎 Profiles are the backbone of your activity, storing your digital identity and content. All publications, followers and Lens activity is related to a Profile.

✍️ Handles are the names given to your profiles, designed to be flexible and changeable. They are composed of a namespace (lens only for now) and the name you've chosen (my handle is lens/definn)

Initially, minting on Lens means you're creating both a profile and its first linked handle. However, it's worth noting that you can purchase additional handles at any time and link any of these as the default to your profile, giving you the freedom to evolve your online presence as you see fit.
