Food for Thought: Lens Sponsors

The right way to fix content creators' income is not by taking more money from the average Lens user. Instead, we need to attract big money to Lens—aka sponsors.

For example, @aave could invest in content creators to produce valuable content showcasing how to use its products, driving user engagement and conversion to the platform.

The question is: what are the missing pieces needed to make this happen?

I'm glad to see @orb guys are listening to the community feedback and are willing to improve. This is the best quality in a team like this 🩷

Making a free sticker pack and feeding the "upvote" Lens graph is the right path, imo, specially for onboarding new users.

And yeah, likes matter in a social media algorithm, especially Lens, I'm sorry to bring this to you. It's not a personal view, it's a technical analysis. We don't feed Lens graph with screen time and content interpretation is still in early stages, so we need engagement metrics for good recommendation.
