I remember your dreams
I hold your hand to reach
You were so weightless
And you were gone close to your dreams
Day 12 - I started a new project that initially my dad inspired me to. He gave me a small fragment of a rug he cut with a long thread connected to. It reminded me of a sculpture I did called “Dream”. My dad is very inspiring and creative. He plays music, he paints, he writes and truly a nature lover. We talked about an art piece that can expand the idea of rug using ceramic tile and thread. And I started making the first series of tile which is going to be part of an art installation.
I’m grateful for being part of this creative community and receiving Trailblazer Award. Thank you HUG for giving us this great opportunity. Congratulations to Maria Faith Garcia for receiving Consistency Champion and @dougfriesen receiving Community Catalyst awards.

Day 11 - In my mixed media series “The Memory of Leaf”, I integrate autumn leaves with drawing. Leaves are the focal points and they tell me what to write for their memories. During the process, I see myself as a leaf which used to be connected to her roots. Now her soul is away from her roots, and her body slues in a new blue sky.
Does anyone know how I can write in ABOUT?
There is no option for me. Do I need to connect to wallet to do so?
Day 10 - This is Gingko leaf, native to East Asia. Very delicate and beautiful. It is part of the “The Memory of Leaf” series. Don’t know yet what is her memory. I just sewed her like I wrote her. I was worried about her during the sewing process. And this delicate beauty broke her stem. I look at her. I want her connected to what she has lost. I sewed the broken piece because I want to hold her safe, to protect her and to keep every piece of her.
Day 9 - In this project calls “The Memory of Leaf” I was inspired by Georgia O’Keeffe, an American modernist painter born in 1887. She quoted about flowers that “in a way—nobody sees a flower—really—it is so small—we haven't time—and to see takes time like to have a friend takes time.” In my drawing series, I sew a variety of leaves on a kraft paper to write them like a memory. During the process, I come close to the details of the leaves, the beauty, the lines, the transformation of colours, the shapes, the differences and the similarities. I become the leaves. It takes time to look at a leaf closely, and maybe it is not necessary to do that. So, in this series, I aim to convey the viewer to read the memory of leaf; to read the memory of self.
