I have no idea what you mean by dad joke vibe but we should not require people to learn how to use a completely new feature just to use Orb. New users should join and think this is easy enough and jump right in
I love the concept of a “soft signal” and would be happy with a viewer count instead of a like button.
I find it interesting you brought up money as your first point and I respect creators’ need to generate income. However, we need to attract more users who are not creators in order to support the growing population of creators. Stickers can be scary when onboarding new users.
We should not require users to react meaningfully to every meme, post, share, etc. No need to join old conversations when we are having new ones online and offline.
I miss scrolling and just hitting like. Sometimes we want to use social media to escape as much as I want to use it to engage
I love the idea of a welcome sticker pack but I do not think stickers express opinions as much as they show whimsy
