Building a few things at once. Deployed a classic style collection that’s ready on my site to mint tomorrow on my website. You already can but it’s timed so it won’t let you. Built an emergency cyber security tool called intrusion_eye in python.
Now I’m trying to actually build a front/back end without uploading my private key by accident so I’ve just been very careful. A small game would be a nice start. Waiting for Thirdweb, not sure if I should use their Engine.
I like polygon and base the best right now.
This would be an interesting tool for audio mastering if I keep going with it (vercel link broken because hosting costs). I want to make something for musicians on the blockchain.
I have basic audio visualizers if you import music that work in real time. I’d rather give the code because again, I took it down from Vercel.
Upload track, instant ai visuals? Also make.com has my API’s going wild. A lot of my GitHub is an experiment but there’s a lot there.
What are you building? ps follow and star me if you want. I will too. 🍄
First post in this club!!!
So excited to have this space here on Orb so we can all share what we’re creating.
👋 If you want, quote this with an introduction.
As for me, I’m Kate—passionate about creating art, building in web3, and meeting other curious people.
In addition to creating this club, I’ve been heads down on a few things:
🛠️Learning WebGL + three.js
🎥 Recording for my youtube channel I’m relaunching soon
🎨Playing around in Blender as per usual
Looking forward to meeting the rest of ya ❤️I made this post collectible if anyone else wants to remember the start of our club.
And.... we're live. @talentlayer.lens contracts deployed on #Polygon mainnet! Now for a funny path to mainnet story this morning #buildinpublic
PS: Minting of TalentLayer IDs starts at 4:04 PM UTC 🤩
Early AM at The Block Lisboa crypto coworking @romain__tl.lens, @mattiaa.lens and I I tried to deploy. Then Romain realized that #PolygonScan was under maintenance for a 2-hour block this morning so we couldn't verify our contracts!! So we had to wait a bit and re-deploy.
So we waited. Then we all clicked "enter" at the same time!!! Played "it's the final countdown" and all that.
And then the deployments kept failing! Each time a different contract. Was super silly. So we kept playing "it's the final countdown". I turned on the "3 hour loop" edition. And we kept clicking.
One time I accidentally clicked deploy before the others were able to click together. So we had to cancel that deployment because it would have been inequitable.
Finally - just about 20 minutes ago - ALL CONTRACTS WERE FINALLY DEPLOYED! Success. We're on mainnet.
Then about 20 seconds after we deployed everything successfully @kyubi.lens walked in from his flight! Right in time for the high five session.
LFGTM! Let's fucking go to mainnet!! #buildinpublic
In honor of the @TalentLayer mainnet launch tomorrow, I re-published the "TalentLayer Manifesto" - a document I wrote in July of last year. It shows the real reason we've built what we've built. Read it here: kirstenpomales.com/manifesto.php
This was 22 days after I first hacked on TL at #ETHPrague.
19 days after Clément Lesaege told me to stop working along & build a team.
18 days after @owenbarnes.lens told me TL should be built as a movement, not a project.
13 days before I'd meet @romain__tl.lens, who'd become my cofounder.
I remember sending this to @realSasaMilic @temporalwave @QuidMint and frens after writing. Look how far we've come!!! Guys, we going to mainnet!!! Thx @mattiaa.lens for reminding me that the TL manifesto existed yesterday. #BuildInPublic throwback! LFG!
Monthly Active Users (MAU) of @chainjet.lens since launch! It's not huge, but it's moving in the right direction 😁
