Its amazing how much crypto people stayed in Thailand after #Devcon. While the public transport sucked in Bangkok, great location this year 🔥
Need real mass market scalability and sustainable low fees?
Come build on ZK stack! 🧑💻 zkstack.io
A developer friendly modular framework that makes it easy to customize & deploy interoperable ZK blockchains. All hyperchains tap into the same users and liquidity.
Lets start a revolution where we take back your freedom, liberty, and identity we were promised or dreamed of! Blockchain with ZK is the only way! People actually have to compete for you, for your attention, for your identity, instead of being controlled by oligarchies who own you 🔥🔥🔥
The world is changing. This is our time. With Web3 you can make the difference you have felt helpless for. This is the peaceful protest where you decide your own, and transitively the worlds future.
You don’t have to change the whole world, you just have to change your own behavior. 1 by 1 we become a landslide that no-one can stop. We are the future. Take charge of your own destiny, these moments in human history come rarely. Power to the people 💪
ZK is the Endgame (∎, ∆)
Examples of what Lens enables?
Freedom to choose - Lens stores just about everything on chain (the global shared state secured bt ethereum)- usernames, posts, followers, comments, etc. If there is censorship, or you want to, just switch frontend apps! All your content and identity follows you to the new social media frontend.
Incentive model - What if you could own part of the protocol you help grow with your your content? Instead of being user sold as product, you are one of thousands of cofounders / owners of the social media network. The more you do work, the more you own. No extractive capitalism where a few make all the money while you are used. No matter where you are in the world, you will earn the same permissionlessly and blockchain will be the great balancer of income inequality. How much more would you post?
Exponential growth - Thousands or millions of devs vs 1 small company
Enabling Competition - Bootstrapping problem exists for all new social apps. With Lens you are building on existing network effects
Web2 like UX, no fees, and scalability - Enabled by & only possible sustainably with #zkSync
Monetization of your identity - With public and private data + ZK, your relationship with your data can no longer be extractive because you control your data. Why would you voluntarily give your identity if you actually had a choice?

Why does ownership matter?
Digital content will no longer be read-write. We are moving to a new age of human history - a global state of verifiable ownership. It will be read-write-own. I know this sounds grandiose, but I would bet money if you’d think about it long enough in context of human history, you would agree.
You own your identity. You own your speech and opinions. You choose who to share it and where to use it. This is not radical, infact it’s most of human history. In this current world of fake “capitalism” there will again be actual competition and free market and individual liberty again.

Social media on blockchain is one of those moments. It may sound simple and be hard to understand the fundamental differences of value of permissionless data and ownership that an open source graph may enable. It’s not just “social media on blockchain”. It is going to revolutionize social and human interaction in ways none of us can imagine.

Humans are very good at linear thinking but not abstract thinking. This by design from 100s of millions of years of evolution so you could learn to survive in a mostly static world (most of human & pre-human history).
As a simple example, when the internet became popular, newspapers thought “huh lets make digital news papers” (Linear thinking). Next to no one thought about the fact that social media would eat up almost all of the business of news. This was too abstract of an idea.
