Alimo weekly recap 09/13/24
gm friends happy Friday!
Wahooooooo. What a fun week! It's been super productive while juggling a handful of fun things. This week in Brooklyn, the weather has been all-time perfect. 75 degrees all day, people out enjoying the city, and endless things to do if you look for it.
For me, I've been trying to find my routine to get grounded. Been doing more workout classes and yoga, along with spending more time in the studio with my practice.
Studio life has been cool this week. My studio mate has a constant flow of people in and out talking about projects, and doing photoshoots, and general creative vibes are high. He produces a dope lifestyle/fashion book, along with lots of commercial shoots. Expanding my network into what he's producing has been really fun. Nothing to do with NFT's and all lifestyle. I'm all for anything creative.
Lets jump into the weekly recap:
- This week has been more computer work, and heads down, we are getting some new merch out into production. It takes time out in China to produce with the factories I work with and was scrambling to get things done before the holiday rush with my shop.
- I have two new puzzles in production (hyped). These have been a hit in the past few years and fun expanding on these. They will each be a 500-piece puzzle, super fun, and quite challenging when you put them together.
- I've also been working on a new 2025 calendar. This package design has been in the works for a while now. Lots of samples, back and forth with my factory, and fun designing the whole pack. Very excited for this one. It's actually been on my list for years now and glad it's finally done. This is going into production next week. Super hyped!
- I went to a Manifold meetup with Efdot, Brinkman, Foodmasku, and a few others. The whole Manifold team was there and fun chatting about projects.
- I'm hoping to start painting next week. Still some fires to put out, but how it goes running a biz!
