most go to the desert for peace. we went for mayhem. all warnings unheeded. brutal wind potential with no cover. micro bullets pounding exposed skin from every direction. pouring grains out of clothing for 3 days. sacrificing all camera equipment for the shot. a scene hollywood can’t make without a mad max budget. likely the most non-recreatable image i’ve ever formed. all for a project from the heart with a dear friend who rented a van & covered hotels. 0 pay. of course this is how it goes most of the time for freelance creatives working on the “cool” stuff. 2,142 miles of a loop journey all at the beginning of a new chapter in my life wading into unfamiliar waters with a relationship but inspired & fired up creatively while exploring the craziest places on earth that were once under the ocean during the dinosaur age. watch the short film here, FORBIDDEN STRUCTURES: vimeo.com/539991920
