⚡️⚡️⚡️ PayPal launches stablecoin for transfers and payments
PYUSD is being issued in partnership with Paxos and is backed by US dollars, short-term treasury bonds and similar cash equivalents. The stablecoin will have a 1:1 exchange rate to the US dollar and will gradually become available to customers from the States. PYUSD will be able to be exchanged for dollars at any time, as well as other cryptocurrencies available from PayPal, it can be used to pay for purchases. It will also soon be available in the Venmo payment app.
