After a year of extensive research and development..
Invisible is live on testnet!Invisible is a privacy-enabled ZK-Rollup with an order-book exchange, allowing users to exchange funds privately.
Try it out at: invisible.zigzag.exchange
There is no need to have Goerli ETH to access the testnet. Simply sign a message and you are onboarded.
Claim some ETH, USDC and BTC at the "Deposit/Withdraw page" and you are good to go.
Trade at a lightning fast speed without needing to confirm wallet transactions
We have gone a long way since development started in June 2022.
Post your feedback in our Discord, we would love to hear it.

Have you tried our native ETH <> SOL and BTC bridge yet?
Let's talk a bit about Zap, what makes it stand out from other bridges and the magic behind it zap.zigzag.exchange
2
Each asset has an allocated liquidity pool (ETH, BTC and SOL).
When a user deposits their asset for a swap, it automatically gets added to the aligned liquidity pool.During the deposit, users need to choose the outgoing chain and provide a recipient wallet address
3/
Once Zap's scripts confirm the deposit:
A withdrawal is triggered from the liquidity pool of the selected outgoing chain, sending the equivalent funds to the desired address.
This is all done at a lightning-fast speed
4/
Currently there is a brief moment after the deposit where our liquidity pools hold the assets before the script triggers the withdrawal.Zap v2 will soon make the swap completely trustless. Our liquidity pools won't ever custody the assets for even that brief moment
5/
If a swap is larger than the liquidity pool itself, the UI will inform you and liquidity will be added shortly to enable the swap.
As our liquidity pools open to the public, yield can be earned as well, meaning that this will likely not occur in the future
6/
Before Zap, users had to follow a cumbersome process to swap between ETH and SOL:
Deposit ETH to an exchange
Trade it for stablecoins
Buy SOL using stablecoins, and then
Withdraw SOL.A complex process that has most of its steps removed by Zap's technology
7/
This process resulted in fees for a deposit, two trades, and a withdrawal.
With Zap, you are charged one trading fee for the swap itself, making it up to 3-4x cheaper to trade while maintaining control of your assets
8/
Try out zap.zigzag.exchange for yourself and let us know what you think!
This is still our early-version release and our vision is to scale it to an all-in-one bridge, supporting as many chains as users require.

Can't wait for ZigZag's launch on @zkSync Era?
Well, hopefully soon!
While Era's development is still in progress, it will soon support the full functionality of ZigZag as an order book DEX.
Keep in mind that it is still early phases for this disruptive ZK-Rollup.
A vital function that ZigZag's order book relies on is the Layer-2 'block.timestamp' function.
Although Matter Labs has not publicised a timeline, rest assured they are diligently working towards it.
The unique capabilities of the zkSync Era will truly bring ZigZag's performance to the next level that was previously not possible on other EVMs.
We cannot wait to release features that would not have been possible on zkSync Lite.
A significant development has gone live.
Introducing Zap!
A new standard for cross-chain swaps and bridging with non-EVM compatible blockchains.
Safer, faster, better pricing, lower fees and more decentralised than the previous era of bridges.
2/ Zap is not just a tool for users to swap cross-chain, it is also a platform for developers.
They can build upon Zap to create products that generate yield on native BTC in a fully decentralised manner.
This opens up a whole new world of opportunities in the DeFi space.
3/ For instance, users on Ethereum could create automated contracts to quickly arbitrage a price inefficiency on @Orca_so, the leading DEX on @Solana.
The possibilities are endless, and we are excited to see what the community will come up with.
4/ In a time where cross-chain bridges are constantly getting exploited, Zap aims for full decentralisation.
The risk is far too great to provide liquidity on the current standard of cross-chain bridges.
Zap will be a safer choice for cross-chain operations.
5/ The vision behind Zap is to revolutionise the way cross-chain liquidity transfers are conducted.
We aim to make them as seamless, fast, and cost-effective as possible, outperforming even the leading centralised exchanges when considering trading and withdrawal fees.
6/ Zap will soon utilise the power of the Lightning Network on Bitcoin.
This technology enables near-instant cross-chain swaps.
Imagine swapping ETH from Ethereum straight to BTC on Bitcoin or to SOL on Solana, all in a single, swift transaction.
7/ We are also working on adding EVM chains and liquidity pools to Zap.
Once risk has been properly assessed and minimised upon full decentralisation, these pools will provide new opportunities for earning yield.
It is all in the works.
8/ Experience the future of cross-chain transfers.

When can ZigZag launch on Era?
While no public timeline is available, MatterLabs has expressed that they are planning this work (second picture).
For those worried about ZigZag losing ground against other DEXs: ZigZag does not compete with AMMs.
ZigZag is an orderbook DEX.
Why has ZigZag not launched on zkSync Era yet?
As much as ZigZag would like to launch on Era and introduce new features, the truth is that Era is still under development.
With the current state of Era, ZigZag is not able to operate as orderbook DEX.
More specifically, the block.timestamp
function is the part that ZigZag is missing to fully launch, and it is yet to be supported by zkSync (first picture).
With this limitation it is not possible to run something relying on EIP-712 (off-chain) signatures.
Rest assured that ZigZag will do its best to launch on Era as soon as possible to allow ZigZag users to enjoy the benefits of zkSync Era.

zkSync Era
zkSync Era's Alpha mainnet went live in October 2022 and has been upgrading ever since in different stages.
So far there have been:
The current version of zkSync Era is still the Alpha version. Right now it is in 'Full Alpha'.
More technical information about the chain can be found on era.zksync.io/docs/
Introduction
ZigZag is the first project that launched on zkSync 1.0 mainnet, now zkSync Lite, back in November 2021.
While users have been enjoying trading for over a year on ZigZag's zkSync Lite DEX with fast trades, cheap fees and even being part of one of the biggest airdrops in crypto history zkSync Lite was never ZigZag's final destination.
Everyone knew that zkSync Lite was not zkEVM and was waiting on zkSync 2.0: zkSync Era.
