1/ Art Blocks NFT Sells for $6.2 Million in Sotheby's Auction.
Ringers #879, a.k.a. "The Goose," was sold for over $6.2 million (incl. fees) at a Sotheby's auction on the 16th of June.
The NFT is believed to be bought by the notable NFT art collector @punk6529.lens.

2/ Congressman Warren Davidson files bill to fire SEC Chair Gary Gensler.
The bill aims to restructure the SEC by redistributing power from the chair to other commissioners, adding a sixth commissioner, and creating an executive director role.

3/ a16z is expanding to the UK
A16Z is one of the biggest VC firms in the US.
They plan to open their first international office in London later this year and will host the next Crypto Startup School there in 2024.
The London Office will be led by Sriram Krishnan .

4/ Bank of China International & Union Bank of Switzerland collaborated to Issue First Tokenized Notes on Ethereum.
BOCI has successfully issued CNH 200 million ($28 million) in digitally structured notes in Hong Kong.

5/ Arbitrum onboards Norway’s Digital Krone.
Recently, they announced the launch of a bridge between Norway’s CBDC and BRØK.
BRØK is an Arbitrum-based platform for tracking & managing shareholder data for unlisted companies, introduced by the Norwegian Govt.

6/ Polygon Labs reveals Polygon 2.0 upgrades.
Polygon aims to build the Value Layer of the Internet.
Polygon 2.0 aims to make Ethereum resemble the rest of the Internet by creating a network of ZK-powered L2 chains, enabling unlimited scalability and unified liquidity.
