神田孝平（かんだたかひら）によって提案された「沽券（こけん）税案」は、ラディカル・マーケットで提案されているCOST（common ownership self- assessed tax）、つまりハーバーガー税とほぼ同じでした。

In Japan, there was an attempt to introduce a Harberger Tax system in the 19th century, but it failed due to factors such as the ambiguity of land ownership.

The "Koken Tax Plan" proposed by Takahira Kanda was almost identical to the COST (common ownership self-assessed tax) proposed by Radical Market, in other words the Harberger Tax.
