i'm honored to announce that my art 'bad kids club' is being exhibited in Art Basel Miami in @superchief AI EXHIBIT artwork within SCOPE Art Show
i created this art at 20000 × 3341 pixels in case it was selected so it could truly shine on the 65' wide display
thank you (!!!)
a tribute to the rad gals who inspired generations of bad kids in Japan's Bosozoku motorcycle clubs and Sukeban girl gangs

our Japanese residency cards are on their way, Japan finally approved our Visa application on the 2nd try
we've been working diligently with immigration attorneys for about a year, beginning months before we arrived here in April
such a relief
i am so excited to continue to experience all Japan has to offer, like these roasted imo mountain sweet potatoes made in the back of this truck in Tokyo
i want to thank tipsy me last night for going to family mart so i could have this today when i woke up
drunk me always has my back
so cheap to fly to Japan right meow lol
come visit in January for @superchief Golden Gai event
on our way to lose our minds on booze in Tokyo tonight with our rad queer community
fuck everything
a couple of images that were not curated recently because they were deemed too political, and i was made to use other artworks that were less meaningful in order to be a part of those exhibitions
it's a shame how hard it is to get people to choose the work i really want to see in the world, and not just pretty ones or the ones that are so abstract that it's easy to take away the deep and radical meaning i put into my work
i am grateful to be included in those exhibitions, do not get me wrong
my feelings of disappointment about this are part of why i have been so quiet lately online, along with a complete lack of art sales it has me struggling to see the value in social media right now
more than ever i view it as a distraction from the more important aspects of my life that are supporting me
