Phaver introduces Social Staking, the first PvE SocialFi

Phaver has always focused on unlocking scalable creator and user rewards with SocialFi. With the $SOCIAL token launch in September, Phaver is ready to introduce a completely new model that offers the fun of daily speculation and supporting your favorite creators, combined with simple and sustainable staking pool mechanics.

Phaver’s new Social Staking model allows users to support creators and earn daily rewards by locking $SOCIAL tokens in a staking pool for at least 30 days. With dynamic yields that reward discovering new creators and a PvE structure, Phaver aims to create a sustainable SocialFi ecosystem where both users and creators benefit.

The main feature of this update is the cap on the $SOCIAL average in the dashboard.

Phairdrop S2 focuses on $SOCIAL holders, and to prevent gaming the system, we’ve capped the 30-day average metric to be at most the current $SOCIAL holdings amount. 🛡 To receive the multipliers or the guaranteed $SOCIAL allocation in Season 2, the tokens must still be in user’s wallet at the time of the distribution. If you move the $SOCIAL out of the Phaver-connected wallet before then, you forfeit the multiplier and guaranteed allocation for the season. ⚠️

We’re really excited about this one for creators. A “like” isn’t real support. Other web3 platforms give you a fraction of what they first promised. We’re trying to do things a little differently.

We’re removing likes and adding custom reaction stickers made by creators for even more ways to capture value in your avenues of expression. Best of all, holders and referrals are rewarded too. We feel it’s more fun to earn with your friends.

And ownership? Well…

We’re beyond delighted to work with @storyprotocol to support IP ownership for all sticker creators. This will enable creators to license their stickers for use both inside and outside Orb, providing clarity on usage rights and ensuring fair distribution of rewards for creators when their content is shared or reused.

So where are we going to put all this excitement?

For the first sticker pack, we’re happy to introduce ORBBRO, your new monkeycorn friend. He’s not perfect, and maybe he’s a little weird, but we love him because he doesn’t try to be anything but himself, just like us :)
