Dear all, since the start of this year on Sept 1st, we initiated something called the "Trending Leaderboard".
However, the analytics raised a lot of doubts and questions that need to be addressed.
I hope this post can provide a satisfactory explanation:

Purpose:
This leaderboard was created to offer better visibility for profiles with followers at all levels.

Explanation:
This simply means that a profile with fewer followers could easily have higher engagement rates compared to a profile with more followers.

FYI, engagement rates are not an absolute standard that dictates how well a profile performs overall but serve as an indicator to discover the recent highly engaged post in relation to social reactions, post count, and follower ratios

Formulation:

The formula is not something new; we calculate this by using the engagement rate formula:

Engagement rate = (total number of likes + collects + mirrors + comments) * 100 / total number of posts / number of followers
