Special thanks to @jensei.lens for collecting my first full length AI AV on chain āAIV1ā www.soundobsessed.com/tokens/1. This was my first self-released track working with my AI generated vocals trained on custom SampleRNN model by www.DADABOTS.com.
Since the beginning of raw audio AI models became more accessible, itās been amazing to hear the progress of fidelity improvements and all kinds of interesting ways we can sonify diff kinds of data input.
While thereās a fear of tech replacing roles and creativity, when we become more intentional about using our own data as training data, we gain better knowledgr of how AI behaves as we grow a new level of intimacy with our own data.
We gain ourselves the agency to be part of new narratives that involve translating the possibilities and limitations of whatās possible. Hearing my own voice in strange ways pushed me to write and produce in a new way Iāve never done before. Hearing back this glitchy imperfect version of myself in ways Iād never sing while hearing pattern recognition churned out in this new audio gave birth to a whole new way songwriters and lyricists can work.
Itās not perfect Iām interested in. I seek hair raising moments because I hear something Iāve never heard before. These usually tend to happen through unexpected serendipity. This is what AI offers - unlimited unpredictable inspiration. Itās never predictability that inspires us. The unpredictable nature of AI is what makes AI tools so fascinating.
This is how I see the immense value of AI as co-creative assistants - not finishing work for us, but giving us endless inspiration and pushing our own creative boundaries to work and think differently. At the same time, we are giving new impressions of how these tools behave visually and sonically.
Iām so happy to see the growth and conversations in this space. So grateful to be here šā¤ļøā¤ļø
After years of growing this community of musicians, artists, scientists, and technologists, it became critical for me to start learning about Web 3.0 while involving as many people into this journey with me.
The mission of SOUND OBSESSED is to celebrate the milestones, journey, and progress of sonic innovation. By supporting our journey, you get to expand and grow with us. We love creating new sonified experiences with emerging tech and science to create new perspectives in meaningful ways.
Performing and exhibiting together as a collective for the first time in NY was a big milestone for us and itās just the beginning.
Come learn about us at www.soundobsessed.com
Maybe youāre just as sound obsessed as us, or want to hear and see sonic innovation as it happens.

GM reigniting on here after months of a much needed social media break and itās so uplifting to see how much is booming here. So much to catch up on.
Whatās your fav thing about being an artist on here for you?
Wow I joined lenster last yr after ETHBerlin and I had to take a break from social media for awhile, just recently returned and reading this makes me hope we can have transparent utilities that help us notice bot in social media :/
Hiii frens, Iām finally making space to start being more active here. After a fruitful time at NFT NYC Refraction X VerticalCrypto Art X Proof of People event with my first ever interactive live minting voice activated AI audiovisual installation, 2 group virtual exhibitions executed in NewArt.City and at Zerospace, and curating a lineup of 5 super special A/V performances, Iād love to connect with more people who are interested in sonic innovation. As a hybrid artist myself, sound centered art has been my main focus and have been obsessed with emerging tech which has led me to launch www.soundobsessed.com - first ever Web 3.0 sonic innovation archive. AI + music has been a big focus as an independent researcher thatās evolved into using AI in a handful of other ways like sounds traveling through latent space.
If youāre a visual artist, sound artist, collector, curator, and/or just interested in learning more about this community of hybrid artists Iāve been slowly building over the years, Iām here to learn how else we can expand and co-create.
Iāll start sharing more of my story and what this all means to me over the next few days. Maybe itāll resonate with you and perhaps birth new meaningful connections š¤
Maybe the question can be tailored to an experience only humans can have that machines canāt.
One of my first questions I asked gpt2 years ago was with thisā¦
Prompt: Machines showing humans what makes them human by seeing how they are not like machines
Response 3: . They do that by looking for the little things, and it's possible to spot subtle differences in their behaviour or their reactions that a machine could never detect.
Will we be forever friends? What does it mean to be forever and ever? Is it to be infinite? Is it to be eternal? Or is it something else entirely? When I think about forever and ever, I think about the concept of infinity. Infinity is something that is never ending. It is something that is always there, always present. It is something that we can never fully comprehend or understand. And yet, it is something that we can still strive to understand.
Like a donut, forever and ever has no beginning and no end.
