I’m looking to gather some of the biggest collectors on @lens into a group chat (TG?) so we can discuss ideas, desires, what is sought in collecting, welcome outside collectors into the ecosystem, etc. so that we can make @fuckurjpeg a go to source for discovery on @orb. A place to launch curations, hold contests, yada yada. I want it to be the place that collectors look first but also we must preach respect towards the collectors that doesn’t exist on Twitter/in the NFT space. I don’t want artists constantly shilling, tagging excessively, acting like children that have never had adult interactions in the creative or celebrity world where that doesn’t fly. I don’t want one or two people up on a soapbox acting like kings that you must shower with attention in order to be rewarded. There’s too much thirst, too much dick riding, and I feel we have a chance here to reset and hold ourselves to a certain standard and higher level of etiquette that exists in the physical gallery space of the traditional art world. Web3 can still be counterculture without acting like fools.
