Why I’m Happy to Be a Developer
Developers are often stereotyped as being glued to their computers and unsociable.
That couldn’t be further from the truth.
As a developer, I have the freedom to tackle any challenge I set for myself—whether it’s creating a dashboard tailored to my needs, designing a 3D model of a unique lamp, customizing it, and controlling it by voice, or experimenting with anything tech-related. The possibilities are limitless.
In just the last 2 days, I’ve:
• Attended two rave parties,
• Enjoyed brunch at a 4-star hotel,
• Engaged in meaningful conversations with Aave users,
• Connected with incredible people driving the Bitcoin ecosystem forward, and
• Helped around 40 teams at @ethglobal.
Being a developer doesn’t mean being unsocial or confined to a screen. It means having the tools to innovate and the freedom to explore—and yes, it absolutely includes connecting with others and living life to the fullest.
Let’s move past outdated stereotypes and redefine what it means to be a dev!
