Day 9 Challenge: All in the Details
It’s the little things that make a photo special. While working on my latest project, I captured a woman walking down the street, but what I noticed later was a cat at the window, locking eyes with my camera like it knew it was part of the story.
These tiny surprises bring layers to the composition, adding life and personality to the frame. It reminds me to always look beyond the obvious because the unexpected often becomes the highlight.
Have you ever spotted something in your photos after the fact? Let me know!

Day 8 Challenge: Work in Progress 🚧
My book project La Solitude is slowly coming to life. The photos are selected—each one carefully chosen to convey the quiet poetry of solitude. But the design? That’s where the real challenge lies. It’s taking more time than I imagined, balancing every detail to create a flow that feels just right.
This week has been all about refining layouts and rethinking the sequence. It’s amazing how much a small tweak can transform the story you’re telling. I’m excited to see how it all unfolds, but for now, back to the grind!

🌅 Day 7 Challenge: Routine Boost
My daily flow starts with a few essentials that keep me grounded and ready to create! First up, a morning walk with my dog—fresh air, a clear mind, and some good vibes from my furry friend. Then, a quick strength training session to power up for the day. And, of course, a classic "gm" session on Twitter to connect with the community and kick off the creative energy. 🚶♂️💪🐾
These little routines keep me consistent and focused, setting the tone for whatever the day brings. Let’s keep the momentum going! #HUGOpenStudios #CreativeRoutine

📸 Day 6 Challenge: Setting the Scene
As a street photographer, my "studio" is out on the streets, where life unfolds in real-time and every corner has a story to tell. But when it’s time to edit, reflect, and connect, I have a little sacred spot that’s all mine. It’s where I dive into my work, chat with fellow artists, and experiment with new techniques. The light might not be perfect, and there’s usually a half-empty coffee mug on the table, but it’s my creative sanctuary! This is where street chaos meets calm creativity. 🌆✨ #HUGOpenStudios #StreetPhotography #CreativeSpace
Day 5 of #HUGOpenStudios: Touching Grass 🌱🐾
Today, I’m taking a break from the digital world and touching grass in the best way possible—walking with my dog by the riverside. The fresh air, gentle sounds of the water, and watching my dog enjoy every moment… it’s the perfect reset. This little escape helps me reconnect with my surroundings, clears my mind, and brings a fresh perspective that I carry back into my photography. Sometimes, all it takes is a walk in nature to find new inspiration!
Day 4 of #HUGOpenStudios: Sound & Vibe 🎶✨
For my current project, I'm listening to "No Prayer for the Dying" by Iron Maiden. The haunting rhythm and raw emotion perfectly set the mood for my black-and-white street photography. It’s got that blend of intensity and reflection that keeps me grounded yet inspired. There's something about the music’s grit that aligns with capturing real, unfiltered moments in the city streets.

Day 3 of #HUGOpenStudios : Meeting the Mentor 👥✨
When I feel a bit lost in the creative process, I turn to friends like Gokhan or Sercan in the Web3 space—they’re always there with solid advice and honest feedback. And for pure inspiration, I go back to the roots, with the timeless work of masters like Ara Güler and Henri Cartier-Bresson. Their ability to capture raw moments continues to shape my vision and reminds me why I fell in love with street photography in the first place.
Who do you look to for guidance in your journey?
Inspiration & Mood 🖤🤍
For my project, I’m diving into the timeless elegance of black & white. It’s all about contrasts, shadows, and textures that bring out the raw emotions in each shot. Here’s a glimpse of the moody, surreal vibe I’m going for—a world where every shadow tells a story. 📸✨
Can’t wait to share more as it all unfolds!
