• Some of our testers using Bitdefender reported having issues on Rally. Some antitracker/antivirus/adblocker might require you to fine settings in order to use Rally. If this happens to you, we would appreciate you sending us a screenshot of your error by DM on Discord/Twitter so we can investigate and see if we can fix this on our end 🙂

Vox populi - vox Dei.

For the past 8 weeks, we've been building an open-source alternative to Twitter Space/Clubhouse that offers an easy-to-use interface & seamless onboarding experience to web3 creators and their audience while giving them full-control over their data.

Back in September, we had a hot take: current web2 social audio apps suck. Why ? Because there is no easy-to-use app that allows users to easily find, create and monetize audio room/content without either :

- compromising their data ownership

- compromising their data privacy

- losing their communities

Enters Web3 and the unique opportunity for builders to easily connect open-source Web2 and Web3 tools, allowing the creation of seamless, user-friendly online experiences that :

1️⃣ Can easily onboard entire communities;

2️⃣ Provide users an online experience where they are in total control of what they publish, who can access it, how, and when ;

3️⃣ Provide a permanent and platformless online experience to users, meaning if a certain link in the chain would break, users will still have access to their data and content, regardless of the platform ;

4️⃣ Allow builders to easily deploy the infrastructure that makes realtime voice chat possible, for cheap;

This is how we got the idea for Rally.

We are using Livekit, Akash Network, The Graph, Polygon, IPFS, @lensprotocol and @guild.lens to build an app that not only make it easy to create and find interesting audio rooms for everyone, but where creators can also control the access and visibility of their audio rooms without compromising their privacy or recreating their audience from scratch.

From the beginning, Rally was designed to have built-in revenue opportunities for content creators so users can monetize their content easily: this will be the last and final milestone we have for our MVP. ETA end of next week.
