Felt like this was somewhere I should say something occasionally.
A big thank you to the entire Lens community.
Yesterday I did a rather long post that I had intended to write, and leave. A little about why I hadn’t really been posting or checking my ahappy.
I believe that one of the biggest problems is directly tied to the stigma of association. Mental illness can’t get better in silence. Isolation only leadsoooo to further isolation. The only thing I can truly contribute to effectively, is the effort to destroy the stigma. If I am as open and honest as possible about my own illness and how I’m currently handling it anytime I’m asked and bringing up the subject with others when I can, I effectively enforce a new presumption. That I won’t tolerate bullies or ignorance. Which is a positive feedback loop!
This helps others open up about their own issues. The effect is cascading. Ideally opening up healthy discussions with others about mental health during a non-crisis time. Positive feedback loop.
If I can inspire someone red else to do this simple little action, it cascades out from me to the horizon. Nice.
@mentalhealth I’m going to be starting a funding campaign for mental illness awareness on a more official level. I am also looking for suggestions on mental healtb non-profits doing good work that these funds would be donated to on a regular basis, establishing a schedule as we undertake the tasks needed.
I’m planning an actual info page and stuff that I’m hoping to put up in January.
There is nothing I hate more than artificial variables in markets. Tomorrow morning my article on tariffs comes out and I welcome critique. I love free markets & I know we don't have free markets anyhow because government sucks. Also, I hate incumbents.
Tsingy de Bemaraha: Madagascar's Sharp Limestone Maze
In Madagascar, there is a unique maze made of sharp limestone blocks, called Tsingy de Bemaraha. This is a natural wonder and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, home to a rich ecosystem with many endemic flora and fauna that you cannot find anywhere else on the planet.
Can’t lie. I’ve been in web 3 since late 2020. There’s a few spots i still have hope for and @orb is still one of them.
Give the artists freedom.
