Another verse yokan chan. limited edition for lens protocol🌿.
This photo is . It is a prompt engineering AI photo of a memory of a visit I made yesterday with the lenses team to an existent bar yokan chan in Tokyo. He has been performing his original songs on karaoke tapes every night for 45 years.
So, it was 1999 or so, and I was figuring out how to make this "computer music" with software that was basically impossible to get as I had no internet connection at home. I would download very early Fruity Loops versions at the University with an ultra slow connection and then take it on floppy disks home to install and toy around with music making.
A couple days ago I was searching for an essay I've done for school back in the days on this ancient hard-drive and accidentally found a couple of tunes I was working on on those days. A couple sounded pretty decent having in mind how and when they were made so I chose one to drop here. At the time I was doing this music, it was all for the fun. Kind of a distraction more than something I would care to do in the future. More than 20 years have passed and I never had a job non music related since then. My hobby, my job. Collect that. 🙂
whoa! our project won a @lensprotocol Top 10 prize at ETH Tokyo 🌿 🇯🇵
