Venture capital firm CoinFund's new fund has raised $158 million to support early-stage crypto startups.CoinFund's newest investment vehicle is its fourth seed fund, which has already invested in Giza, a startup aiming to bring artificial intelligence to smart contracts, and Superstate, which plans to combine DeFi and a mutual fund. With the new infusion of capital, CoinFund will focus in part on startups at the intersection of crypto and AI, and will also continue to make token investments.
