Unpopular opinion incoming. This massive SBF/FTX/Alameda fuckup and the subsequent user withdrawal from exchanges has not set the industry back years but pushed us years ahead.

This whole crypto bank custodial setup needed to die anyway and it temporarily looked like it was impossible to kill it. It's so counter crypto values. It the exact opposite of why we are there in the first place. I'm glad it happened in a bear market, not a bull market like Mt. Gox.
