Here's a recipe for Chicken Cordon Bleu:
Ingredients:
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts4 thin slices of ham4 thin slices of Swiss cheese1/2 cup all-purpose flour2 eggs, beaten1 cup seasoned breadcrumbs1/2 teaspoon salt1/4 teaspoon black pepper1/4 teaspoon garlic powder1/4 teaspoon paprika4 tablespoons butter, melted
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Use a meat mallet to pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness, about 1/4 inch.
Season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
On one half of each chicken breast, place a slice of ham and a slice of Swiss cheese. Fold the other half of the chicken breast over the cheese and ham to create a pocket.
Place the flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs into three separate shallow dishes.
Dredge each chicken breast in the flour, then dip in the beaten eggs, and finally coat in the breadcrumbs.
Place the breaded chicken breasts in a baking dish and drizzle melted butter over each piece.
Bake the chicken for 25-30 minutes or until cooked through and golden brown.
