Storms on the planet Jupiter are impressive meteorological phenomena and of great interest to both astronomy and planetary meteorology. The most famous of all is the Great Red Spot, but Jupiter is home to many other storms and complex atmospheric patterns. The Great Red Spot is a gigantic anticyclonic storm (rotating in the opposite direction to that of storms in the Earth's northern hemisphere) that has been active for at least 350 years. It is approximately 1.3 times the diameter of the Earth. #cosmos #hubbletelescope #science #jupiter #Storms #science
