When artists who got their start in NFTs go physical with their creations, they seem to favor industrial and entrepreneurial production (prints, merch, books etc.) instead of manually making physical art in the studio.
Having just had a grueling but rewarding work session at my sculpture studio, I find the above bullish for both traditional and web3-related visual art. Traditional art is as powerful as ever and is not going anywhere but web3 culture is: its going far and wide in distributing and creating through machines. A parallel, more decentralized artworld reaching many who in the past might not have had the access or exposure to experiencing and collecting objects of human imagination ✨
I just started my first Art Director position and I couldn't be happier about the alignment of my personal work and the company I get to work for ! 🤩

thank you & congrats once again for the stellar show of 3D works by fellow pioneers of digital sculpture 🔥
Congrats to the Finnish National Gallery for their launch of www.alusta.art ! 💥 Built with a digitalisation grant from the EU, they’ve built a tokenized culture platform on Zora 🔮
I’m super happy to share I got to mint a the 3D artwork, ’M3T4 B4S3’, as a 60-day open edition for the launch campaign! You can spot it on the big screen atop of the Amor Rex art museum and on public transport around Helsinki 👻Perfect timing for #Slush #nftart #zora #publicgoods #publicsector
P.S. Their 3D-viewer is buggy but here’s a link to my work nevertheless: alusta.art/model/m3t4-b4s3
does @manifold.lens support animated GLBs ? previewing the 3D-asset works fine but can't atleast preview any of the animations :|

Very excited for my 1st proper Studio in the digital realm. It'll pair my own Art practice with works I've collected on Tezos !!!
oh, at times like this I just love web3 < ^---^ >
Lounge Chair (2021) from my series of sculptures titled "Great & Exciting Things People Will Be Doing with PCs in 30 Years". it is made of 14 iMac screen frames themselves made of 6000-series aluminum alloy. here it is seen installed at a group show at Espoo Cultural Center, Finland where it was on-view this January. I'd like to think that it is what a caveman with good eye for design might do to Apples ^.^ #contemporaryart #postinternetart #sculpture #conceptualart #speculativedesign #aaltouniversity
