Had the privilege and pleasure of joining Black Box Talks at ArtCenter SXD last week, where James Meraz and I meandered through my journey from classical pianist to engineer to artist.
A convo that covered so much ground — from teasing the haptic in the digital, to parallels in the feedback loops between Japanese urushi craft and working with AI, to prediction vs. perception in algorithmic data sets…and then some.
