In preparation, we wanted to go through some crucial consideration points.

Remember: Linea Voyage XP (LXP) are NON-TRANSFERABLE.⚠️ This means that once LXP are collected in a wallet account, they cannot be moved. It is therefore crucial to accumulate LXP in one wallet to accurately measure your contribution to the growth of the Linea network.

✴️How does POH work?

LXP can only be minted on accounts that can prove human ownership. This is done by examining your account’s historical data across multiple chains. 

Users will be able to carry out POH through identity partners once the POH wave is launched.

✴️How can I ensure POH success?

If you engage with the Linea Voyage using a new account, distinguishing your activity from that of a bot will be challenging, making Proof of Humanity more complex.

We recommend designating your main account as the “primary account” for the Linea Voyage, and accumulating your Voyage XP there. This approach simplifies the POH process and offers the best user experience. 🔑

We do understand that using your primary account may not always be practical or secure. Therefore, the Linea team developed a way to bind multiple accounts on linea.build.🥳

✴️How do I bind my accounts?

On linea.build, you should be able to connect and set up your primary account, which must pass POH through the Verax registry, and then designate a series of ‘secondary accounts aka alternative accounts that you may use across activations. 

Once the accounts are bound, any XP intended for your secondary accounts will be minted on your primary account.

⚠️ Before binding an account, it is important to note that binding is an irreversible action. Once a secondary account is bound, XP will automatically accumulate in your primary account and your secondary account moving forward will not collect any XP. Consider carefully before binding!

Once the accounts are bound, Voyagers are free to engage with activations using any wallet account, including accounts on embedded wallets.🔮

As we step into 2024, let's look back at the Linea DeFi Voyage.

With 6 weeks, 10 waves, 10 core tasks, 24 bonus tasks, and 2260LXP up for collection—over 450,000 Voyagers joined our in-depth exploration of the Linea DeFi ecosystem, breaking tons of web3 quest records in the process. All of this is thanks to the Voyagers. 

Here’s the recap. 🚀

Commencing November 7th 2023, Linea partnered with Intract and MetaMask Learn to deliver a 6 week Voyage covering all DeFi sectors. We sought to welcome everyone— from web3 newcomers to seasoned investors—to explore L2 DeFi by creating an intuitive, immersive, and educational quest experience. 🌐

Wave 0: DeFi Voyage Launch 🚀 We kicked things off by introducing Voyagers to core Linea, web3, and DeFi concepts.

Wave 1: MetaMask 🦊 Voyagers began their L2 DeFi journey by bridging funds into Linea and swapping tokens using MetaMask Portfolio.

Wave 2: Bridging and Onramps 🌉 Voyagers explored Linea’s bridging ecosystem. We looked at on-ramps that move fiat into crypto assets, and bridges, which connect Ethereum to other blockchains.

Wave 3: Token Swaps 🔄 For the third wave, Voyagers explored Linea’s DEX and DEX aggregator ecosystem. They acquainted themselves with various crypto assets, including stablecoins, liquid staking tokens, and real-world assets.

Wave 4: Lending and Borrowing 💰 During wave 4, Voyagers explored how to interact with DeFi money markets. They discovered that these markets offer traditional finance tools like interest and liquidity, supercharged with the power of decentralization.

Wave 5: Liquidity Provision and Yield Farming 🌾 Here’s where complexity ramped up. Voyagers provided liquidity on selected pairs on Linea DEXs.

Wave 6: Proof-of-Humanity 🧑🤝🧑 Wave 6 was focused on human verification. We asked Voyagers to prove their humanity and identity with Verax, an on-chain attestation registry that works like a trust and reputation scoring system.

Wave 7: Trading 📈 During wave 7, Voyagers explored complex trading products. They experiences how DeFi hasn't just replicated existing financial products but introduces new paradigms that were previously unfeasible.

Wave 8: SocialFi 📱 Exciting stuff! Voyagers minted personalized NFTs that captured each of their 2023 journey on the Linea network. They also got acquainted with our favorite new socialfi dapp, Tomo Social!

Wave 9: SuperDapps 🦸♀️ For the penultimate wave of the DeFi Voyage, Voyagers explored SuperDapps. These dapps focus on provising a well-rounded user experience that can be a decisive factor when bringing the next billion users to DeFi and web3. 

Wave 10: Account Abstraction 🧩 For the final wave, Voyagers experienced how account abstraction upgrades the web3 dapp user experience and eliminates the need for convoluted secret recovery phrases, tricky transactions, and high gas fees.
