"Happy Monday, everyone! I wanted to share a quote that resonated with me today.
It made me think about my corporate journey and the people who played a significant role in it.
I'm grateful for those who supported and believed in me, and even for those who tried to bring me down - they taught me valuable lessons about people and work culture.
Microsoft just gave me another reason to ditch Windows 11
At their recent developer conference, they announced a new AI feature called "Recall" that's supposed to be like a personal Time Machine. It takes regular screenshots of your activity and uses AI to analyze them, allowing you to search for documents or searches from months ago.
But here's the catch: this "feature" is basically just Microsoft monitoring your every move on Windows, feeding their AI with your data. It's like they're watching your every click
Time to consider switching to a different OS before it's too late #PrivacyMatters #Windows11 #RecallFeature
Here is the official announcement from windows:
Still testing out Nobara OS,
While windows is a ready run Operating system, Linux has a deep learning curve,
You need to learn how the file systems work along with command lines.
You need to figure out the drivers for each application unlike windows where every drivers are preinstalled.
Idk how long will i be testing Linux but yeah, you should definitely test Linux and see if it meets your day to day needs

Just installed Nobara OS, a gaming focused Linux distro, on my personal computer and I'm impressed!
It's great for web surfing, playing games via Steam, and for everyday tasks.
Unlike Windows 11, Linux prioritizes privacy & gives you control over updates.
Still exploring the full potential of Linux, but so far, it's refreshing to use a stable OS compared to Windows 11.

Had a terrible experience with Farcaster 🚪, A web3 social media platform claiming to be the web3 Twitter. 🐦
To post in various communities, you need to buy warps. According to Farcaster, Warps are supposed to tackle on-chain fees and let communities charge users using warps.
Compared to Orb and Phaver, Farcaster feels more like pay-to-win system.
Warps can only be bought via USDC in Base chain and posting independently without posting within groups would limit reach.
Pay-to-win web3 social media platforms like Farcaster may struggle to sustainably motivate original content creators and users. Early adopters may stick around, but others may lose interest and would abandon the platform.
Yesterday didn't start off on a best note for me. 🌞
Got a speeding ticket and my work laptop decided to play dead. 😅
But hey, life throws curveballs, and it's all about how we handle them.
Let's tackle challenges head-on, without dwelling on blame or frustration. 💪✨

I have seen many here utilizing web3 social media platforms for the following reasons:
Airdrops
Leveling up their accounts to secure future benefits and whitelists.
Resharing content and posting cartoonish generative AI posts to create the illusion of activity, thereby farming followers to achieve 1 and 2.
Building web3 micro startups and personal brands/projects.
Portraying themselves as blockchain gurus or crypto alphas to lure people into various projects, courses and subscriptions.
Web3 social media platforms have been quite lenient with users lately, as they need to onboard more people into these new web3 social apps.
Once these emerging apps acquire a sufficient number of users, it will become challenging for generative AI content creators and wannabe influencers to survive.
To all the moms here and my own mom, Happy Mother’s Day.
Today and Everyday, I want to thank you for your tireless efforts, unwavering support & unconditional love.
You are the glue that holds families and communities together.
