I am heading to a Safari soon. Last time I went to one, I took my Canon 100-400 II IS USM with a 1.4 extender. The challenge is that you lose focus points while using an extender 😔.
This time I am planning to take my Canon 7D Mk II (1.6 crop sensor) and thinking of taking Tamron 150-600 G2
Does anyone have an experience in the Tamron? Or do you think 100-400 with a crop sensor will be enough?

The boost was only till Season2 . Are you referring to any other boost?
With higher level you get more points and more Phaves per day (helps to earn phaves too).
