According to the 16th issue, this farm was formerly a closed-down cultivation facility for shiitake mushrooms. After its closure, it underwent a complete renovation with the installation of cooling systems, LED lights, and other facilities, transforming it into a warehouse-style plant factory.
The city is focusing on transforming idle facilities within its jurisdiction into productive infrastructure, aiming to discover and continuously support more targets and farms.
Normally, strawberries are planted in mid-September and harvested from December to May. However, in the plant factory, strawberries are planted in March and harvested starting from June during the high-temperature season, continuing until December for distribution.
One significant advantage of a warehouse-style plant factory is that it can cultivate crops on an area that is only one-fifth the size of a conventional greenhouse, resulting in significant labor savings.
In Vietnam, banana leaves have long been a familiar ingredient for the people, and recently, there has been a trend of using fresh dried banana leaves to package various foods as an alternative to plastic bags. This practice has gained significant attention and interest from consumers across the country.
Vegetables such as green asparagus, basil, lettuce, and parsley have been packaged with banana leaves, and this initiative has quickly gained consumer interest and support, ranging from large supermarkets to traditional markets. Clearly, using banana leaves as food packaging material is a way to convey environmental friendliness to consumers and protect food preservation and the environment.
It is a useful solution that helps cultivate good habits among consumers, and in addition to banana leaves, other leaves such as lotus leaves and taro leaves are also commonly used for this purpose.
Changing the habit of using plastic bags may be challenging, but it would be beneficial for us to take collective action and make small efforts in each household to protect the environment. 馃槂

馃嵅Budae-jjigae is one of the representative Korean dishes. It is a hearty soup made with ingredients such as pork, tofu, kimchi, and ramen noodles, and is known for its spicy taste and generous portions. It is especially famous as a dish that soldiers in the Korean army eat, hence the name "budae," which means army base. Nowadays, it is a popular dish both inside and outside of Korea. Spam is often added to budae-jjigae.
馃嵅This dish originated as a meal for soldiers in the Korean army, who had to make do with limited ingredients. Spam was one of the meat products imported from the United States during a time of meat scarcity, and it was used as a convenient and easy-to-eat meat product in budae-jjigae. However, there are now various versions of budae-jjigae that do not use Spam.
