The city is focusing on transforming idle facilities within its jurisdiction into productive infrastructure, aiming to discover and continuously support more targets and farms.

Normally, strawberries are planted in mid-September and harvested from December to May. However, in the plant factory, strawberries are planted in March and harvested starting from June during the high-temperature season, continuing until December for distribution.

One significant advantage of a warehouse-style plant factory is that it can cultivate crops on an area that is only one-fifth the size of a conventional greenhouse, resulting in significant labor savings.
