How is this different from the rest?

A fiduciary acts in a client’s best interest… very similar to what you expect from your CPA or doctor.

Sadly, not all of financial services are aligned with this standard. Approx 99% of the industry is structured as a broker or insurance person. They are someone hired to sell you a product in return for commission. In essence, they are there to “broker” the deal.

Fiduciaries are the 1% of the industry that work in a clients best interest which means a personal and professional legal obligation to work hard for you always. In addition, fiduciaries don’t get paid commission… it’s actually illegal.

Fiduciaries are positioned and aligned to focus on the key areas of financial services which means providing holistic advice far beyond a pitch or stock tip.

Analogy:

Fiduciaries = car consultants finding the perfect fit based on your needs and expectations

Brokers = car dealership offering you a vehicle on the lot tied to one manufacturer

All of this hits at the heart of my interests in crypto where no professionals are raising their hands to provide advice. I believe that gaps exist and it’s my job to support crypto natives in making better well rounded decisions for themselves and their families.
