It may be or it may not be. Objects/creations are meaningful only after they are presented. But yes, it can contain artistic qualities related to composition, colors, dynamics, etc... But that alone does not define what is or is not art. Leaves swept off the ground and placed in a museum can be considered art by concept. First of all, what is valued as art has more to do with a socio-cultural discourse than with intrinsic qualities of the object. It's the same discussion there was about photography x painting, then about digital photography, then about digital painting, generative art etc etc...But I believe that the question "what is art" is something that has been the subject of numerous articles and books in philosophy, aesthetics, semiotics... it is an open field of thought 🙂
sure, it can be considered art imo. But, I do believe the amount of time and effort it takes to learn how to get a good looking output from AI doesn't even touch what it takes to really master a craft like music, art, whatever.
That being said, it seems like at the end of the day, the result seems to matter way more than the process to most.
Ai is not a panacea, and NFT, kindled from early art, could use AI for a new wave of market volatility

If the artist doesn't contribute anything from herself/himself, if only the AI product has emerged, I think it wouldn't be an art 😐
If you think art is a for of expression, than I think it's not. But from a viewer perspective, if I can find beauty or a special meaning/feeling into it, then, for me, it would be.
🤔 maybe we should first define what is art. Because I believe that atrur answer to that question would change depending on the context.
suppose it is, then:
suppose it is not, then:
etcétera...
