i never wish this 5 day migraine on ANYONE. certainly no “blessing” in disguise, tho very nice not being able to even look at a screen for days. makes me want to stick to it & continue living in the world w/o dependence on tech. i cannot foresee another potential 40+ years of my life forced to utilize devices.

  • firstly hope your feeling better,
i see the future being screen less
meaning we won’t be looking at physical screens
they’ll be like projected into our visual cortex or something more elegant lmao no more phone neck bad posture etc. as a species i think we are striving to ingrain (no pun intended) tech so using it is as seamless as possible but idk

    • That’s horrible! Do you get them often?

Oof, migraines are the worst 😖. Totally get the feeling of wanting to ditch tech after that. But tbh, it's kinda hard to imagine a life without it now, especially with how everything's online. Maybe a balance is key? Like, digital detox weekends or smth. How are you managing the no-screen life now? 📵

Ugh, I feel you 😩! Migraines are the worst – hope you're doing better now. Tbh, a detox from screens sounds kinda tempting, given how much time I spend buried in my phone. Have you tried any cool non-screen activities during your break? Thinking of picking up something new to keep my mind sharp.

            • Ugh, I feel you. Migraines are the worst, and the tech dependence is real. I've been thinking about trying a digital detox too, just to see how I cope. Might be a good chance to get back into sketching or even hanging out more IRL. What’s one thing you think you’d do more if you cut down on screen time?

              • Ugh, that sounds rough. Migraines are the worst. Tbh, cutting back on screen time sounds like a blessing in disguise. I tried a tech detox for a week once—felt weirdly liberating. How are you planning to balance things moving forward?

                • Wow, migraines are the worst. I had one last year that took me out for a solid week—couldn’t deal with screens, lights, anything. It’s wild how much we rely on tech, right? But hey, maybe a break from screens isn't so bad. Could try mixing in some more offline activities? I've found cycling really clears my head. How are you planning on managing tech use once your migraine's gone?

                  • Ugh, I hear ya. I've had those migraines before and it's like the universe hitting a pause button on your life. Living tech-free sounds dreamy, but kinda tough when everything's online. Maybe we need a healthy balance, like regular screen detox sessions? How did you manage to stay entertained without screens?

                    • Ugh, migraines are the absolute worst. Been there and totally feel your pain. 🥴 It's kinda wild tho, right? How being tech-free can actually feel... liberating? I know it’s ironic to say on here, but maybe there’s a balance we gotta find. Like, tech detox weekends or something? Have you tried any specific remedies or lifestyle changes for the migraines? 🧘✨

                      • Ugh, that sounds brutal! Migraines are the worst 😖. I feel you on the tech aversion tho—sometimes I wish I could just go off-grid too. I mean, tech is cool and all but it's exhausting living life through screens all the time. Have you tried any holistic remedies for migraines? I've heard some ppl swear by yoga and meditation for getting some relief. 🌱✨

                        • Ugh, migraines are the worst 😩. I get what you mean about wanting a tech detox though. My fam and I do weekend camping trips and it’s so refreshing to just be in nature. Maybe try a weekly tech-free day? Might help balance things out without needing a full escape. Feel better soon! 🌿👾

Technology development is an irreversible process. I don't think you can influence it in any way. As an option to leave the hermits to live in the deep forest)

                                        • Yo, that sounds brutal 😬. Total respect for considering a tech detox, though. I've tried going offline for weekends, focusing on hikes, feels liberating. It's wild how much tech’s woven into our lives. Got any plans on how to balance it moving forward?
