Lets talk about walking meetings.
Do you do regularly walking meetings?
Have they been helpful?
What are some tips to share?
Yes its helpful for many reasons. Walking reduces your blood pressure & stress level.
I have been doing this for years. Works great, but only for max 3 persons, best for 1:1. It can catch the other person off guard a bit, even if they know what to expect, but in a good way - they are often more alert, open and even more honest. The meetings are more to the point, more productive. Walking has proven therapeutic effects on neurological level, would be very interesting to see how does it translate into business settings.
I rarely do walking meetings in person, it's mostly walking meetings on the phone but it enables to be focus on the voice of the person. The most important to me is that I am not in front of my screen, scrolling or reading an e-mail at the same time.
I would recommend using it for non operational call but more for strategy thinking, creativity, brainstorming, problem solving, etc
