Would you give all your lifelong data to AI if it could improve your life and productivity by multiple factors?

    If it is private yeees!

I'm pretty sure the computer network that hosts its servers would catch on fire. I have OCD and ADHD all in one, coupled neurotic hillbilly stubbornness I was born with. I'm pretty sure even AI servers won't be able to process all that.

          • If that includes also medical history for prevention and research, why not?

Imagine AI having details of complete existence of a living individual. Hmm..sounds cool but creepy too. This should be a really delicate decison. If i say yes, then AI could actually use them to improve productivity in many ways. But this is where i see mankind submitting to machines. I believe there are other multiple ways we can make AI productive and improve man's life without unnecessarily letting it lead the way or giving it this much power.

I doubt it... It would be great to have options what data to provide depending on where you want productivity to be improved.

If the AI was locally hosted, possibly airgapped and I’m 99% confident there wouldn’t be any third order negative effects.

If it will improve my life and productivity yeah I would, as long as it doesn't affect my wallets and bank account.

If it was kept private, maybe. I wonder if this will be the way how we can become immortal. Give enough data to the AI to recreate our brain as an artificial neural network.

                                          • If it means I can retain access to my data or it's maintained via some sort of zero-knowledge system (not sure if this is possible), I would immediately accept.

Forking over all of my information (especially health-related) to a centralized monolithic organization might deter me ...

If it was owned by a global company... Yeh probably but I'd moan about it just like we do now with giving all our data to Google, meta, Amazon and Microsoft.

I think so. I'm just an ordinary person, and I don't think my data should be excessively exploited. Not to mention the fact that I've already given all my personal data for free to Google and Meta anyway.
