A few days ago, Neuralink got approved for human testing by the FDA. This is massive news! What do you think of this?

its good as long as its libre software/hardware.
i wouldnt hook my brain up to it unless i 100% know what its doing
You know there's like 2 other companies that have surpassed Neuralink. They have already implanted chips in humans
Both exciting and scary, long term effects of brain implants unknown yet I suppose

I have a Tesla, and the car alarm goes off if you open the doors in a specific sequence after backing it out of the garage. There's no way in hell I'm ever letting Elon near my brain.
The vision is interesting and more progressive compared to the external brain interface computers. I do like that Neuralink's equipment can be used even in brain surgery. I am a bit concerned on how to implement the tech safely, so I hope there will be lot of documentation and papers around that.
