I love these blooming trees, apparently right now is its season in Israel, I just found out that this tree is called Jacaranda. Originally it's from South America, but it can be seen all over the world nowadays!
Congratulations on the photo. It is a wonderful tree for urban forestry, characterized by rusticity, decorative flowering and fast growth. It can be used to decorate streets, sidewalks, squares and parks, as its roots are not aggressive. It is widely used in landscaping, adorning patios and residential or public gardens, moderately filtering sunlight. Many countries use jacaranda-mimoso in afforestation of large cities. Jacaranda is very common here in Brazil.
