The view from the Brooklyn bridge to Manhattan bridge , you can see the train passing by 🎞️
Somehow a very peaceful atmosphere in this moment, even though the bridge is crowded
Gm! Heres’s a reflection on my first trip to NYC. I visited New York for the first time as a university student, i was around 20 -21. I had to get a summer job, and somehow I found one as a waitress at a pizza place near the UN headquarters. It wasn’t easy to find a job in nyc when I just arrived there and didn’t know anyone, I got lucky. That summer, I worked and explored the city, over the moon to be there, even though I could barely afford a small room in Brighton beach and had to commute nearly 1 hour each way. But I didn’t care. I was in New York, and it felt grand!
I commuted on the Q train almost every day and would see the Brooklyn Bridge from the train window. Funny enough, the only time I actually went to see the bridge up close was for a date at night.
Living there wasn’t easy, but I loved the energy of this big city. I was ‘small’ but independent already, I’m grateful for this experience in many ways. Good and bad things happened, I found friends, visited places, was in love for a bit , but eventually in September I had to go back home ✈️✈️✈️

Gm! Do you like ramune? (I kinda like all the prints on the walls at this sushi place too 🍣)
Did you know about this drink origins tho? 🤓Ramune was introduced to Japan in 1876 by Scottish pharmacist Alexander Cameron Sim. It was initially sold as a medicinal tonic before becoming a popular carbonated beverage. Crazy, right?
Now you know .
Gn ✨ making a rough sketch and leaving it just like that. Love it or hate it 🌖
