Web3 marketers: What are the best crypto CRM tools?
Eg. withblaze.app wallet CRM + @push_ for messaging
This is an open call! I’d love to chat with anybody and everybody that works in web3 marketing. Converse, video call. Don’t matter: I just wanna hear everyone’s experience and learn as much as I can
Spicy take: If you’re the only member of your marketing team, you’re not a CMO.
Last week at ETHCC, I met people claiming to be web3 CMOs that can't tell the difference of web3 basics (staking, validation rewards vs LP tokens).
Thoughts on being web3 company without a token?
Is there a chance to compete against projects with a token without a token?
I see token as great marketing vehicle, also great way to reward community members who contribute, BUT it makes a loot of noise that may take the product to wrong direction.
Web3 marketing: Crypto token launches are about whitepapers, community buzz + exchange listings, it's like building rockets for the moon.
Product launches focus on target audiences, features, benefits, distribution channels + sales strategies.
Different arenas, different playbooks.
Had a thought: Marketing is marketing. The underlying principles and ethos hasn’t changed . What has changed is the mediums and tools we use to execute.
Web 1, web 2, web 3.. doesn’t matter. Marketing is marketing. The job is to figure out how to use the tools to get the job done in each particular case. I’m bullish.
Web3 marketing is an interesting concept. For 1, it’s underdeveloped so far. The thesis of web3, that people own their data, and have to opt in, makes it all the more complicated.
So far we’ve mostly only seen shilling and community management . Airdrops, and points or loyalty systems …. That lead to airdrops are the Maslow hammer of web3 so far.
But I think there’s going to be a player that comes into the space and creates that vehicle that transports web2 marketing to web3.
In fact, I think @wav3s might just be that. If the idea is for people to own their data, and give you permission to advertise to them— moving the data ownership from companies like meta to the individual— then I think wav3s just might solve for that by allowing people to collect from you in exchange for you interacting with an advert.
In your experience how has web3 marketing been different than web2?
