@tanaland a concept invented by TikTok user “Hadja_bh2” is an imaginary country for women only, a sort of safe place where girlies can wear what they want and go out late at night without worry.
💓 Girls on TikTok have even created a fun backstory for this country! It borders the fictional Listembourg, has a pink-and-white flag, a capital called Tana City, and even a president and subway with funny station names.
There's also a political party called "Eh les filles," a playful mix of "Hey girls" as a reference to a real French party (LFI). Women are sharing outfits they'd wear to visit "Tanaland."
The idea came when girlies on TikTok got enough of boys bullying them, "Fine, we’re leaving and making our own country!"
Some incels got so upset they made up "Charoland," or "Fuckboyland," imagining their own country.
😂 BUT the problem is there country is actually full of the same women they claim to hate and call “Tana’s”.
This trend is a funny and feminist take on imagining a safe space for women, even if the country isn't real.
🇫🇷All the media is talking about Tanaland in France. We’re happy to bring this concept on the blockchain.

gm professionalllss, this is me and you in @tanaland slayin’ to the freakin max 🍟💅
Amazing how women have taken back a word meant to tear them down and turned it into a source of pride and empowerment. 👑Let’s keep owning our confidence, celebrating each other, and living life without fear of judgment. 💅✨
Tanaland (noun): “Tana” is derived from the word “Tana”, which comes from the Spanish term “putana”— meaning “slut”. “Land” refers to a specific area or territory.
On TikTok, it’s a favorite insult among young incels. Women have reclaimed the word Tana, using it to be proud of themselves. 💅
Being a Tana means embracing urself as a woman, dressing freely, and doing what you desire without caring about the judgmental gaze of men.
Welcome to Tanaland, a fictional country where all the Tana girlies can come together 👸🏻
